Shelley just finished filming her spot on the new IFC series COCK'D GUNNS which airs Saturdays at 9:30pm on the IFC channel. Shelley's episode will air sometime in March. Will update with exact date once the schedule has been set.

kicked off opening night for a new comedy venue in Hamilton, Ontario

" CORKTOWN COMEDY: A new comedy venue at The Corktown Pub (175
Young St.) is opening Sunday with Hamilton's own Shelley Marshall (above)
headlining. Brian Coughlin, host- producer of Corktown Comedy (corktowncomedy.com)
has been running a weekly show in Toronto for almost two years. Corktown
Comedy Live will feature comics on the last Sunday of each month. Sunday's
show starts at 8:30 p.m. Admission $7 at the door."

This photo was on the cover of the Entertainment Section of the Calgary
Herald recently! It certainly would appear as if Shelley had a good
run at the Fringe Festival : ) as not only was she at least partially
naked in that box with a fellow comedian but 6 of the 8 shows at the
Comedy Cave were completely sold out. AND the Laughing Arts Festival
named our girl One of the Festivals Top Comics!!!

Shelley Marshall says her standup comedy act is a little like Hamilton
- dirty and rough around the edges.
But when the born-and-raised Hamiltonian says that, with her almost innocent smile and expressive brown eyes, even the staunchest Chamber of Commerce booster would be hard-pressed to complain about the digs at her home and native town.
"I love working in Hamilton," says Marshall. "I love the people.
"All you have to say is 'I'm a Hamilton girl' and they are in love with you.
"I don't know if it's the comfort of being home but they get my sense of humour. It's a little dark and definitely dirty.".....

Just got back from the House of Comedy in Niagara Falls, Canada. It was a great show tonight, for about 60 close friends, myself, and opening act Shelley Marshall (www.shelleymarshall.com). She's a comic from Toronto, and we worked very well together. The club manager warned me that she was a little blue, but as it turned out, she was actually very dirty. I thought she was hysterical, and some closers are threatened by that. I actually welcomed working with such a strong, funny female. After all, I'm making the big headliner bucks, so it's my job to follow her, whatever she does. And I did. I think her act actually set mine up by putting the audience on notice that this wasn't going to be a Sunday School class. I enjoy doing the shows where I don't have to censor myself and I can let the wild side of me loose.
By contrast, the show the night before was a living nightmare..."
